No, Mr Bahrt, I haven’t been spouting this nonsense for years but for many decades, starting in 1963 when I opened my first fitness club. Tens of thousands of members, including medical professionals such as a professor of nutrition from the Med-U, followed my “nonsense” to reach high levels of fitness, clean arteries and rapid fat loss.
I didn’t make it up as I went along but followed the science. An example is the work of Dr SL Malhotra and his team who carried out the world’s largest and longest study on this subject, publishing 11 times in the Lancet. The study encompassed two groups of the same genetic origin, age and activity but living in different countries. The group in the North cooked their food in butter or ghee and ate a diet high in animal meat and fat. They also smoked more than the other group. The Southern group had a pure vegetarian diet.
Yet the southerners had 15 times the heart disease incidence of the northerners. How were the northerners protected? One of the three main causes of arteries calcifying is high blood homocysteine that needs to be lowered with vitamins B12, B6 and folates. Surprisingly, butter and cream synthesise all the B vitamins in the gut with the help of the “friendly bacteria”. Butter also contains vitamin K2 that directs calcium into hard tissues and bones, and away from soft tissues and arteries!
Mr Bahrt extolls the “China Study”, conducted by Dr T Colin Campbell, a PhD in Animal Nutrition, (Cornell University) and animal rights advocate though not a medical doctor. The “China Study” devotes only 39 of its 350 pages to the study of Chinese people and kicks off with “Eating foods that contain any cholesterol above 0 mg is unhealthy”. This bold statement is drawn from a broad, highly selective pool of research that Dr Cambell then “interpreted”.
Cambell’s linking animal products with cancer was based on his 19 years of research funded by Britain’s National Health Service. It came to unsupported conclusions upon which he has built his tower of vegan propaganda.
As to what is fattening, it is unlikely that Mr Bahrt, a retired editor-journalist would have access to “Human Physiology” by Vander (MD), Sherman & Luciano (PhDs). It tells us that digested carbohydrates first top up muscle and liver glycogen, stored sugar. The rest is rapidly converted to body fat in the cells’ mitochondria via the Krebs cycle and that digested fat only slowly converts to usable energy molecules in the liver.

Liberal Americans sunk in funk of seditious resentment
Back in 1780 John Adams declared government in the United States to be “government of laws, not of men”. The last government in power ignored this fact by only complying with the words of the constitution when it suited them. In the eight years from 2009 to 2016, government was of men, not of laws. The Department of Justice proved to be partisan and corrupt, immigration law was not enforced, a weak, spineless foreign policy of appeasement left the country vulnerable and poor trade agreements resulted in almost $1 billion being added to the trade deficit. During the same period the national debt grew by $9 trillion.
To honour the words of John Adams, Neil Gorsuch and Jeff Sessions have been appointed to the Supreme Court and Department of Justice respectively. On a national scale, their task is awe-inspiring. They are faced with a political correctness-indoctrinated opposition that has become infected by their own propaganda. The state of mind prevalent across society from academia to the mainstream media and opposition Democrats on Capitol Hill is seditious. The theories of Saul Alinsky and Goebbels are the guiding forces.
Alinsky was a 20th-century community organiser who shunned normal political systems in favour of gaining power by aggravating social grievances. His only policy was to attack and destroy opposition. Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton are both followers of Alinsky. In fact Clinton chose Alinsky as the subject for her thesis at university. Lacking sound policy, she applied Alinsky’s teaching during her presidential campaign by relentlessly attacking Donald Trump with the help of the mainstream media. Alinsky failed, common sense prevailed. Goebbels was Adolph Hitler’s propagandist. He believed that a lie constantly repeated would become the accepted truth. His famous line was, “If the Fuhrer says 2+2 = 5, then 2+2 = 5.”
Both these powers of wisdom, having failed in the race to the White House, continue to be employed by their faithful, attempting a coup d’etat in the US. At the end of the day the only losers will be the American people and the country as a whole. As since 2009 the clear intention of these traitorous globalist puppets is to degrade the nation state of the US.
The people of the US must prove John Adams’ words if they are to retain their democratic sovereignty.
