The MICHELIN Guide Thailand has officially announced its 2027 Bib Gourmand selections, revealing 26 first-time entries in its landmark 10th-anniversary edition.

The additions bring the total number of recognised affordable dining establishments across the kingdom to 151. The surge in new listings doubles last year's debut count of 13, highlighting the country's expanding repertoire of high-quality, value-driven culinary experiences.

The unveiling serves as a significant milestone for Thailand’s tourism sector. It directly reinforces the Tourism Authority of Thailand’s (TAT) overarching policy to promote gastronomy tourism and elevate the country into a premier, world-class gastronomy hub.

Under TAT's "Value over Volume" and high-value travel directions, food-based tourism—ranging from street stalls to regional dining routes—acts as a vital economic engine driving domestic and international visitors into local communities nationwide.

Building excitement ahead of the official Michelin Star revelation ceremony on Tuesday, 10 November, the announcement underscores the breadth of Thailand's food scene, covering everything from generational family-run heritage spots to innovative chef-driven casual concepts.
