The Thai Film Archive has once again chosen the actors it intends to honour by immortalising their hand and foot prints. “Laa Dara.

The Thai Film Archive has once again chosen the actors it intends to honour by immortalising their hand and foot prints. “Laa Dara”, as the event is known, takes place this Saturday (May 13) and this time is recognising three renowned actresses from the mid 1970s and 1980s – Tasawan Seneewong Na Ayutthaya, Orasa Prompathan and Duangjai Hataikarn.

Tassawan and Duangjai are still acting can be seen in TV drama “Maun Khon Ra Faak Fa”, which airs on Channel 3 every Monday and Tuesday. Orasa suffers from health problems and has chosen to stay out of the limelight.

The event is taking place at The Thai Film Archive at Buddha Monthon Sai 5 Road in Salaya district of Nakhon Pathom and starts at 1pm with the screening of the 1976 movie “Paa Kamathep”. Directed by Vijit Khunavudhi, the film stars Sombat Methanee, Sorraphong Chatree, Mayurachat Maunprasithivej. Tasawan  and Duangjai.

The hand and foot print ceremony will begin at 3pm and be followed by an interview session with the actresses in the Sri Salaya Theatre at 4pm.
