Totally wrong on osteoporosis

In another one of his insane letters (May 13) Thomas Turk acts as though factory farming doesn’t exist and ignores all the cruelty inherent in it. (I hope when he goes to his judgement day he has a good lawyer).

Ironically, while he pretends to be a great critic of the medical establishment, he repeats it’s biggest, lie which is that drinking milk prevents osteoporosis. The highest rates of osteoporosis are in countries such as America and Finland where people drink enormous amounts of milk. This is because the animal protein in milk depletes the body of it calcium and that’s how you get this disease.
For years I have publicly stated that if anyone can give me one intelligent reason why I should believe humans are the only species in the history of the world who need to drink the milk of other species, I will literally eat every letter and article that I have written on the subject and wash them down with a glass of milk.
