Similarity between Trump and Hitler exaggerated – except on one point
Recent claims made in this space of similarities between Adolf Hitler and Donald Trump are overblown.
At least Hitler could spell properly and was able to string a few sentences together without reminiscing pathetically about his general election win.
Where there is a similarity is in early 1945, when the Reich was collapsing. Hitler ranted and raved about treachery and betrayal, which bears a haunting similarity to the current, noisy chaos in the White House.
Hitler took 12 years to fail. It looks like Trump will be doomed in as many weeks.
