J Series Festival returns to Siam Pavalai of Paragon Cineplex on June 18 and will once again feature Tatsuya Ueda, singer and actor from Kat-Tun, as well as shows by Aoi Teshima, Rei, Enra and Mirai Shida.

The festival, which also celebrates the 130-year of Thai-Japanese diplomatic relations, is being sponsored by Japan’s Ministry of Interior, Telephone & Transportation, and the International Drama Festival executive committee as part of the efforts to promote Japan series to Thais.
Actress Shida shot to fame as Kazumi Kanda in "Joo no Kyoshitsu" ("The Queen's Classroom") and went on star as Miki Ichinose in “14-year-old Mother”. Aoi Teshima is a Japanese singer and voice actress. She is known for singing and acting in several Goro Miyazaki movies including “Tales from Earthsea” and “From up on Poppy Hill”. In 2016, she released her tenth album "Ren'dez-vous."
Contemporary Japanese supergroup Enra blends modern dance with animated computer graphics in a show that has captivated audiences worldwide, including at the closing ceremonies of the Cannes Film Festival and a performance before the International Olympic Committee.
Enra achieved viral video success after its performance for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic bid was picked up online. Their verified YouTube channel has racked up an astonishing 10 million views in only a few years. Since that time, Enra has been invited to perform at theatres and festivals around the world.
Thai celebrities including Warattaya “Jui” Nilkuha from Channel 3’s “Samee Tee Tra”, and Neko Jump, a sister duo featuring Warattha “Noey” Imraporn and Charattha “Jam” Imraporn are also taking part in the event.
