Bangkok Marathon set in November

An estimated 40,000 runners from all over the world will take part in the 30th BDMS Bangkok Marathon on 19 November which features the honourable trophy of the late His Majesty King Bhumibol for the marathon winner.

Co-organised by the National Jogging Association of Thailand and Bangkok Dusit Medical Services (BDMS), the tournament features three divisions which are the 42.195 km marathon (from 2am – 8am), the 21km half-marathon (4am-7am) and the 10km mini-marathon (5.30am – 7am). The starting point is due on Phisanulok Road (Misakawan intersection).

Bangkok Hospital Deputy Hospital Director Paisal Chantarapitak said medical support teams and BDMS medical teams will be available in many spots to provide help for participants. 

National Jogging Association of Thailand will donate Bt2 million proceeds to Her Majesty the Queen Sirikit’s foundation and another Bt2milllion to HRH Princess Sirindorn’s foundation.
