Tastes on the road
Actor Phuphoom “Ken” Pongpanu was on hand recently to lead fans of FM One in finding and tasting delicious foods on the road from Bangkok to Rayong and Chonburi for the second edition of the radio station’s “FM One Keep Eating Rally”.
The rally kicked off at Crystal Design Centre on Ram-Indra Expressway in the early morning with DJs Jake Rider, aka Chanatpon Sangsithisatien, and Q, aka Thitipan Suriyawit welcoming participants as they registered their cars and donned the giveaway t-shirt.
The first stop was at Eakanake, the famous seafood restaurant in Chachoengsao, to taste signature dishes kaeng som poo khai nor mai dong and pla chon thod lui suan before driving towards traditional dessert shop Tang Seng Jua.
The next stop was Suan Supatra Land to check out the fresh fruit from its orchards and was followed by lunch at Baan Rabeang Mai Restaurant in Rayong. The day ended at Veranda Resort Pattaya with a fruit-themed dinner and a concert by Season Five.
The following day the drivers joined together to offer lunch to underprivileged children at Father Ray Foundation in Pattaya before driving back home.
