In scoop form there are six flavours to choose from. The milkshakes are thick and made the old-fashioned way. And there are sorbets and zero-sugar options, too.
Churned at a slower speed than American-style ice cream, gelato is famous for its dense texture – thanks to all those air bubbles – and a richer, more intense flavour.
It’s also made with a higher milk-to-cream ratio, meaning you’ll have fewer calories to burn off later.
Zing, on the ground floor of Centara Grand at CentralWorld, has a gelato-inspired menu available daily from 7am to 9pm.
The scoop flavours are Tiramisu, Salty Caramel, Black Forest, Vanilla, Healthy Yoghurt and Rum Raisin. The sorbet flavours are Wild Strawberry, Raspberry, Mango & Peach and Blueberry.
The zero-per-cent-sugar options are Kiwi, Coffee, Strawberry, Berry, Yogi, Mango and Tiramisu.
And the old-fashioned milkshakes come in Chocolate and Vanilla.
