Are vegetarians barred from the Catholic Church?

When a Roman Catholic who is a vegetarian takes Communion, is he or she being a hypocrite, or is eating the meat of Jesus just a God-given holy exception? By the way, what part of his meat are these Eucharist-eaters swallowing?
