Martial arts goes mobile, teams up with Grab

Singapore - ONE Championship, a martial arts promotion, announced a partnership with Grab Singapore, as well as the launch of its new ONE Championship mobile app in Singapore on Monday.

The mobile app, available for download on both Android and iOS platforms, will provide millions of martial arts fans around the world free access to every ONE Championship live event, as well as a full library of digital content.
The streams will be in Full HD and will also provide users with statistical information and a detailed background on their favorite ONE Championship superstars.
“Apart from being televised through networks across Asia and the world, the event will also be available for free through the ONE Super App,” said Chairman and CEO of ONE Championship Chatri Sityodtong.
“Witnessing a great display of martial arts action is now at your fingertips.”
In terms of the One: Unstoppable Dreams event , Muay Thai fighters, Singtongnoi Por Telakun, Sam-A Gaiyanghadao and former World Muay Thai champion Yodsanklai Fairtex will strut their stuff in the One Super Series, a Muay Thai league which was introduced into the competition in the One: Hero of Honours in Manila last month.

At the Singapore Indoor Stadium on Friday, former cancer patient Singtongnoi will face Josep Lasiri of Italy in the Muay Thai lightweight, Yodsanklai will take on Chris Ngimbi of Congo in the kickboxing middleweight, while Sam-A will meet Sergio Wielzen from the Netherlands in the Muay Thai flyweight Championship, the only one of the three in which a title is at stake.
“I’m excited to come back to compete again after a knee injury forced me to stop for 15 months. I studied his style already and I’m confident I can win,” said Yodsanklai.
