Bargain buys in Japan

Bargain buys in Japan

If you’re planning a trip to Japan this month or next, make a point of stopping off in Yokohama to bargain hunt at the Mitsui Outlet Park Yokohama Bayside Closing Out Sale.

This popular outlet mall run by Mitsui Fudosan Retail Management is closing down on September 2 for a complete refurbishment and is having a blow-out sale to cleat its stock from now through the end of July.

The sale will also feature a range of special events including a photo contest where customers can share their memories of the mall. Hokkaido Loco Farm Village serving delicious food for the north will hold a limited event and every shop in the outlet mall will be offering super special discounts!

And if you are planning to Japan later in the year, try and time the trip to coincide with the grand opening of the Mitsui Outlet Park Kisarazu in Chiba prefecture on October 26. With 308 shops in total, it will be the largest outlet mall in Japan and also features a new spacious garden terrace, a luxury service lounge and plenty of cafes and restaurants.

Krungsri Consumer Credit Cards holders should show their cards and QR code at the information counter in Mitsui Outlet Park, Divercity Tokyo Plaza, Expocity and Coredo Muromachi to get a shopping voucher valued at 1,000 yen (Bt290). The offer continues through the end of the year.
