I have a crazy idea about the digital watch advertised on The Nation’s website under the slogan “Military Watch Everybody in Thailand is Talking About”.
Why not use Prawit Wongsuwan as a presenter? (If the man himself is too busy, an impersonator would do.) Have him dress up in the general’s uniform, shielding his eyes from sunlight with his hand and displaying the watch on his wrist. The tagline? “Don’t Borrow, Buy It Now!”
I think the public would get a kick out of it, and it would certainly be the talk of the town. It might even win the Ad of the Year award – if there is one.
