The Thai government has invited citizens across the nation to back 16-year-old rock sensation "Nene Royal" (Praew-Rattikan Amloi) as she prepares to take the stage for the live final of America’s Got Talent (AGT) 2026 in New York.

 

Speaking on Tuesday (September 22), deputy government spokesperson Ploythalay Laksameesangchan encouraged the public to send their support, praising the Phuket-born prodigy as an inspirational role model for Thai youth and highlighting her ability to project Thailand’s cultural soft power on a global platform.

 

"The government commends and firmly believes in Nene’s talent," Ploythalay said. "On behalf of the Thai people, we encourage everyone to send their full support for her to bring home the AGT 2026 championship. She is demonstrating not only her exceptional musical ability but also the strength of Thai identity on the world stage."

Having landed safely in the United States, the teenage guitarist and vocalist immediately sparked excitement among her global fanbase by sharing a backstage photo on Facebook.

 

Striking a confident rocker pose in her promotional shoot, Nene captioned her post: "FINAL ROUND! @agt NEXT TUESDAY Make sure you tune in SEE YA! ROCK ON!!!"

 

Supporters flooded her page with thousands of messages of encouragement, with fans declaring that the young star’s explosive energy has already won the hearts of audiences worldwide, regardless of the ultimate competition result.

"I didn't even realise I had gone viral," Nene said. "Sometimes I still can't believe how much everything has grown. I travelled from Thailand with just one guitar and a dream. I just want to give it my all in the final round and make Thailand proud."
