Egon Wout, thanks for the link: The first paragraph of the article goes like this: "A cigarette hanging from his lips, a sinewy man with a knotted-up beard perched on the back of a plastic chair...." My oh my. I guess it's true that you can judge an article by its first paragraph.
If they want to make the black shirts look real bad, they might as well begin the article with, "A marijuana cigar dangling from his nostril, a three-inch-nail protruding from his forehead.…" And what? A sinewy man? A sinewy Thai man? That's absurd. I've never seen one, except in a movie or a track and field event. And this bad sinewy dude perched on the "back of a plastic chair"? What an antithesis! A bad dude should perch on a pile of smouldering tyres or something, not a plastic chair. Reading the lead paragraph, I know exactly what to expect from the article.
The two men who wrote the article are not journalists. Their writing style and their choice of words indicate that they are wannabe authors of terrorism fiction. Also, Egon, I am not cognitively dissonant, whatever that is.
Yes, this article was definitely propaganda by Abhisit's government.
