We all recall his “Spi-Kee Man” act last year, when he climbed out the window of the SC Park Hotel while the cops (sort of) gave chase. That was nothing!
Kee used a “camouflage spell” to get away from the Ratchaprasong intersection just as the rally was being broken up. A monk taught it to him – over the phone, no less. He walked straight past the assembled troops, further assisted by three sacred amulets he was given after the SC Park caper.
Kee says he didn’t wear the talismans until one day he dreamed that a monk asked him why not. So he put them on, walked all the way to Makkasan in his bare feet and then remained invisible on the back a motorcycle bound for Cambodia.
And along the way he dodged 100,000 bullets.
Wow!
We’d pay good money to see that movie. We’d pay even more to get that camouflage spell.
On the ropes
Ketsepsawat “Na Nake” Palagawongse na Ayutthaya talks for a living, but his patter failed to score with muay thai fans attending Sunday’s “Thai Fight 2011” at Thammasat University Rangsit and watching it on TV.
Na Nake introduced the first combatants, Angelo Alessio of Italy and Thailand’s own Kem Sitsongpeenong, and then disappeared.
Nobody cared until Kem scored a fast first-round knockout and then he was sort of expected back in the ring.
There were eight fights in all. Na Nake blew one completely by declaring Portuguese Barradas Jose the winner when he’d just lost to Spaniard Roqueni Abraham. He couldn’t seem to even remember the names of all the boxers, so he just went with the colour of their shorts.
Na Nake admitted his flubs in a tweet later: He finally gets to host a global television event, he said, “and it’s a catastrophe!”
