In short, Khun Jatuporn may well hold that the courts under Pheu Thai would be fair.
If Mr Dunn and Khun Jatuporn believe that courts under Pheu Thai render justice impartially, then they undoubtedly believe that Thaksin’s conviction was equally fair. How so? Well, the Thaksin verdict was rendered during the tenure of Khun Somchai Wongsawat. Surely Thaksin can trust a court system under his brother-in-law and Pheu Thai’s predecessor to give a verdict without fear or favour.
Thank you, Mr Dunn – and perhaps Khun Jatuporn – for your faith in the impartiality of the Thai courts – and in Thaksin’s guilt.
