The Thai fashion industry goes tribal with Mob F, the first multiThai designer brand store on the fourth floor of Siam

Centre. The collision between chic fashion and cultural heritage is presented under the theme “Cool Tribe Mix” and takes fashion diversity to another level.

For the coming autumnwinter season, the designers suggest burying pants deep in the closet and flaunting your legs in mini and maxi dresses. If you must have warmth, go for leggings – there are plenty of colours from which to choose.

Dive into the world of nature with adorable big and small floral prints and show your love for God’s creatures by flaunting lively insects on blouses, skirts and shawls.
Don’t stick to conventional signature autumn and winter tones like white, black, and grey as Mob.F spices up this time of year with a kaleidoscope of colour that will add brightness to all winter parties.

For sleek and stylish guys, Mob F offers a poised and polished collection that will release you from tedious threads.

Among the musthave pieces are modish jackets matched with colourbloc trousers. Bolster your confidence with neat cutting and make your day with polka dots and stripes that take twists and turns to perfection. Be amazed by the magnified polka dots, stripes on diverged textures, natural and animal prints, and nail the look with limited edition handmade prints.

For accessories, each brand presents its exquisite pieces of body decorations in a variety of materials ranging from wood to leather, silver and copper. Others experiment with innovative materials like resin and pump up the luxurious looks with crystal and colourful precious stones.

Meanwhile on Siam Centre third floor – Siam Centre on Third as it’s known these days  designer Tipayaphong Poosanaphong recently held an event to celebrate his new shop, also named Tipayaphong Poosanaphong, and to present his latest creations for autumn and winter 2011.

The party was well attended by the fans of the brand as well as fashion Alisters.
Tipayaphong, who designed for Ungaro in Paris before returning home to launch his own brand five years ago, presented his couture style creations for ladies and gentlemen. His sharp senses and inspiration are manifested in his collections at the shop, which drew plenty of admiration for its avantgarde look. The gigantic mirrors have been artistically placed, extended, and modified to decorate corners, making the shop seem even more spacious and chic while highlighting the apparel, hats, shoes and accessories.

His new winter collection was inspired by a series of portraits by the Israeliborn Berlinbased photographer Lea Golda Holterman, entitled “Orthodox Eros” in which she transforms young Orthodox Jewish boys into mythical characters from old Greek mythology and the Bible.
In the men’s collection, he juxtaposes beautifully austere silhouettes in luxurious fabrics with whimsical period collars and fringes.

The women’s collection combines soft simple silk draping with geometric patterns and clean lines along with plenty of detailed embroidery. A robust colour palette for both collections, primarily red, black and white was chosen to make the collection an absolute beauty.
