Thrown in at the deep end to drown

Re: "Yingluck not to blame for flood crisis", Letters, November 2.

I agree with the writer that PM Yingluck Shinawatra cannot be blamed for the disastrous handling of the flood crisis. But another Shinawatra is surely to be blamed. The one who threw his poor little sister, his “clone” as he calls her, into the deep end and now lets her drown. She did her job for him by preparing his return and the pardon for his prison sentence, so that she has become expendable now. Despite her lack of political experience, she has done no worse a job that all the imbeciles around her in government and all sorts of quangos. Just look at Froc and the Irrigation Department. To ask the Irrigation people to manage the floods is like putting the fox in charge of the hen house. Don’t blame the mess on last year’s decisions. It was after this year’s July election when there was time enough to gradually drain the large dams in the North before the new flood wave arrived.
After all, those who voted for Yingluck voted in reality for her brother, and soon they shall have him back. Well done, good luck.
