Thailand not making the right lists

According to a US business report (CNN), ten years ago on November 30, economist Jim O'Neill identified the "Big Four" of the emerging world - Brazil, Russia, India and China (BRIC).

Now added to that are the “Next Eleven” (N-11), consisting of Bangladesh, Egypt, Indonesia, Iran, Mexico, Nigeria, Pakistan, the Philippines, South Korea, Turkey and Vietnam.
Economists are looking at them with regard to the fastest financial growth in the future. Those not on the list might want to ask: What are they doing that we are not?
Could education have anything to do with their success?
