An awakening to reality

Somsak Pola opposed the coup that unseated Thaksin Shinawatra. That is praiseworthy in reminding us of the dynamism of his idol. I, too, then opposed that coup that robbed us of Thaksin’s leadership and many worthwhile initiatives. However, matters that were subsequently revealed in consequence of that coup and his damning Thailand while in exile woke me up to the reality that Khun Somsak’s idol is not that perfect.
