When I was in junior high school my history teacher said America should drop nuclear weapons on China because as soon as China acquired nuclear weapons they would drop them on America.
As crazy as that now sounds people back then said China thought they would survive a nuclear war and such a war would enable them to destroy capitalism. I was terrified.
As it turned out, China had no such ambitions and was far less aggressive than America, which at the time was committing genocide in Vietnam.
Today, decades later, America is still starting wars it has no business being in and Israel is still stealing more Palestinian land and periodically invading it’s neighbours. Yet we’re suppose to believe that Iran, which isn’t invading anyone, poses this terrible threat to the world.
I have no doubt that somewhere in America a history teacher is telling his students we must bomb Iran back to the Stone Age because once they get nuclear weapons they will drop them on us. And the students will just nod their heads, totally unaware of the fact that their teacher – not unlike most country leaders – is a raving lunatic.
