Bar the terrorists, not American tourists

I have been following your opinion pages for about a year, and many's the time I would like to write.
This time I cannot resist. A letter writer suggested Thailand should bar visitors from the USA because they are “lightning rods” for terrorists.
Now, I find Americans to be bores when they travel, and try to avoid them for that reason. But I find the attitude above akin to blaming a rape victim because “she was pretty”. If you cannot understand the comparison, then stop reading now!
However, it seems to me if people are going to come here from the Middle East to kill foreigners, then it is they who should be barred from the Kingdom. And since it is difficult to discern a terrorist from a non-terrorist, do like the previous writer wants to do to all Americans. Bar them all!
