Reebonz on a roll
Reebonz Thailand, the online retailer of luxury goods, has made the move out of the virtual world with its boutique-on-wheels.
Launched on Thursday at the Four Seasons Hotel, the Reebonz Mobil is a lavishly customised 40-foot shipping container that’s fitted with shelves and glass cases to display the handbags and accessories. It’s also air-conditioned, and has sound-proofing.
Imported from Singapore, the firm invested Bt30 million to create the pop-up store. The glass case alone is said to have cost Bt20 million.
The truck will next pop up at the Crystal Design Centre from next Friday to Sunday. If you miss it there, just keep an eye out at other shopping districts in Bangkok and around the country.
