Charges relating to Thaksin all 'alleged'

Re: "Litany of allegations against Thaksin must have a basis in fact", Letter, June 8, 2012.

Khun Surasak Piputtana reminds me that I left out Thaksin’s bribery charge.  I also left out jaywalking, littering and double parking.
My point is, how many charges have been substantiated except for the land deal, which was later nullified and the money plus interest returned? All Thaksin’s accusations are strewn with “alleged” and “allegedly”. What happened to him is similar to Dr Pridi Banomyong and Dr Puey Ungpakorn, who were accused of crimes never proven. May be Khun Surasak can tell me what crimes the two had done.
I found the Bt2- million bribery case very peculiar. If you want to bribe judges, would you carry cash into the court lobby and hand it to a clerk at the reception? Or would you rather arrange for a cash delivery to an abandoned warehouse out in a no man’s land?
And whatever happened to judges who were supposed to receive the bribe? Were their names ever made public? I guess not.
