Kemadist Chiaracharuwat’s faith “in the wisdom of our King and our people to work things out amicably” reminded me of the words of a famous American, Rodney King, who said: “I just want to say, you know, can we all get along? Can we get along?”
His words are often misquoted as, “Why can’t we all get along?” or “Why can’t we all just get along?” but they have resonated with truth for more than 20 years since he said them.
Rodney King died earlier this year at a relatively young age, but it seems that his thoughts will last forever, in one way or another.
