Israel has every right to defend itself

Is it just me, or does anyone else think Manfred Liebig is drinking a little too much Iranian Kool Aid these days? Yes, Israel is protective and paranoid. Yes they are battle-ready. They have to be. Just ask the Germans, for at least they are honest about their past sins. 

The Iranian government? You’re kidding right? 

There is no democratic attempt to give true rights, justice or protection of any kind to the Iranian people, let alone anyone else, and their own people deserve and crave much better. No Persian Spring is forthcoming anytime soon, that’s for sure. 

The extremist elements of the Iranian revolutionary guard, Quds Force, their allies in Hezbollah and Hamas, the Russians’ proxy state led by Bashaar Assad/the Alawite Syrians et al, aren’t exactly on Santa’s list of who’s been a bit naughty and who’s been nice, now are they? Ahmadinejad is a puppet on a radical Islamic string compared to the Ayatollah Khamenei, who wields near-absolute power – so what about his role in suppressing the basic hopes, ideals and dreams of the Iranian people? 

If they had guns, they’d revolt like the non-Alawites have against the murderer Assad. 

But just ask a few Iranians and Hezbollah operatives doing time here in Thailand exactly what it is they were planning to do with all those mobile car bombs and tonnes of urea and ammonium nitrate. It was going to be a helluva party.

Funny, there have been no terror plots by Israelis against their perceived threats operating here that I’ve noticed recently in Thailand, unless I missed something. So it seems Israelis and Jews were about to be innocent victims once again. Would you prefer that they wait to be completely annihilated before taking preventive (okay, pre-emptive, even) action? Or is it that they’ve learned their lesson the hard way from some former brutal empire of the not-so-distant past?
