Putting Chalerm Yoobamrung in charge of the government’s attempt to bring about reconciliation is like putting a bull in a china shop. It will only mess things up.
Possibly this is the reason why the Pitak Siam group is having a rally this Sunday. The group supports a military coup if any changes in the law occur to allow Thaksin Shinawatra to return without facing charges for past wrongdoings.
Thaksin should stop hurting Thailand by controlling the Yingluck government to the point that it causes the country to suffer immensely from disharmony. His farewell from Thai politics would be praised highly. And no more coups would occur.
