A family of art

The Vichienkets - Thailand's leading family of artists - are showing 70 paintings and large and small bronze sculptures at the Sukosol Bangkok's City Gallery until March 17.

National Artist Chamruang’s bronzes elevate unity and harmony as means to achieve life-long peace. His wife Saovapa offers a sculpture of the Lord Buddha in the graceful Sukothai style. Son Yannapol reveals his sense of humour in drawings of everyday household items, and his brothers Nithi and Nathee show paintings using unusual combinations of colours.
Drop by any day from 10am to 8pm. Call (02) 247 0123 or visit www.TheSukosol.com.
