Why are we kept in the dark?

Re: "Minister must quit over blackout: poll".

It is unfair to blame the energy minister for the power failure in the South. Ministers are chosen without prejudice as to experience or education. They are chosen for loyalty and obedience to their master. A deputy prime minister claims he is the servant of a convicted (self-confessed) “slave”. How could he be held responsible for anything? They can all rely upon “the Nuremberg defence” – “We were only obeying orders.”
The minister’s response that “the sky was responsible” recalls the children’s tale “Chicken Little”, about a hen that thought the sky was falling. The minister should take note that Chicken Little was eaten at the end of the book.
