Thailand's chances of qualifying for the 2015 Asian Cup finals in Australia are virtually all but over following a resouding 3-0 home loss to group leaders Iran yesterday.
The reverse at the nearly deserted Rajamanagala National stadium meant the Thais have lost all of their four group matches so far, leaving them firmly rooted at the bottom of Group B, which also included Kuwait and Lebanon.
The Thais visit second-placed Kuwait in the penultimate round of the group fixtures on Tuesday.
