A stick to kill the beast of corruption

In other countries with a more functioning democracy, politicians found guilty of corruption or other wrongdoing are squeezed out of their party because they have become a political burden.

Their reputations are killed forever. No laws are needed to get rid of rotten politicians, since the parties do the job themselves, but not so in Thailand.
Rather than being a burden to their party, corrupt Thai politicians merely serve their ban of a few years and then pop up again, fresh as new. Of course this is part of a root problem that creates never-ending corruption.
Hence, in Thailand there is only one way to go – ban corrupt and lawbreaking politicians from politics for life by law! With 67 million people to pick from, it shouldn’t be that difficult to find new politicians and Thailand could, after a long cleansing process, be rid of its corruption beast – crooked politicians. But this will only be made possible by a new law that is strictly enforced.
