An active media can be of great benefit to us by reporting on forums for various sides to express their opinions and seek reconciliation.
But accountability is a key part of freedom, and those with freedom must act responsibly. I have heard biased views and rabblerousing dominating the stages and stations of all colours. This is highly unethical and unprofessional, and should be curbed by self-regulation or the courts.
I propose that, as an interim measure, the junta allow freedom in forums organised by educational institutions on issues of the day, so long as all major sides are given equal opportunity to speak and the events are open to the media.
