Re: Stephff's "Let's stir the pot of hatred" cartoon, June 5.
I admire Stephff’s cartooning talent, but I feel that he is dead wrong in his characterisation of US political activist Pamela Geller as a wall-eyed lunatic nutcase.
It wasn’t Geller who brought down buildings and killed thousands on 9/11, and it wasn’t Geller who perpetrated the Boston Marathon bombings and the Fort Hood massacre.
Geller is a strong and resolute defender of the American people, and one of the few voices willing to confront the Islamist terrorists in America head on. And she’s doing so at great risk to herself – and not for “fun”.
Don’t lampoon the victim. It is the Islamic terrorists who are “stirring the pot of hatred”, not Pamela Geller.
