Mr Grassmann writes that Russia and China are showing strong militaristic tendencies not seen for a while. Does this imply that, since the United States has always had strong militaristic tendencies, there is no need to mention it? As for happiness, I don’t recall that the US has brought happiness to Iraq or any other countries it has invaded under dubious pretences or plain lies.
