Eric Bahrt accuses me and others of making fools of ourselves with each “ridiculous” letter we write. However, he fails to elaborate on what exactly in each letter deserves that description.
Every time I write, especially in answer to Mr Bahrt’s letters, I always present facts and reasoning to back up my argument. I expect Mr Bahrt to have the decency to do likewise and display his wisdom, but I am usually disappointed.
I suggest that he start writing longer and clearer letters rather than short ones full of strong words whose meanings are often unclear.
Wisdom is best displayed by precise use of language. Hence, whenever Mr Bahrt offers strong condemnations, he should add punch by offering facts and reasoning to back them up.
That is how we carry ourselves here in Thailand, sir.
