Trump’s ungrateful American in our midst

John Arnone has shown his true colours by describing critics of US president-elect Donald Trump as “the wealthy and the pseudo-intellectuals” of the world.
Despite Thailand adopting him as an expatriate “son-in-law”, Arnone has not once shown appreciation or goodwill towards this country. He has been critical of Thailand even as Thais displayed little discontent for his disparaging and at times despicable behaviour. We Thais are of the opinion that, since this is a democracy, freedom of speech must be allowed.
But Arnone’s hypocrisy is that he is far from being as democratically minded as he boasts. He raises up Trump as some kind of a god that cannot be criticised.
I for one will continue to criticise your beloved new president truthfully and as I see appropriate, and in a democratic manner. So what can you do about that?
