Inspired by the colours of the sea and the stories of mariners, the apparel is made from finest Cotton USA fabrics in red, white and blue. The key items are rompers, tops, pants, baby hats, gloves, socks, and diapers. The products are designed for children from birth up to five years old, and cater to children’s every move, from travelling to attending parties with parents.
Miss Universe 2005 Natalie Glebova and her daughter Maya who are the brand’s ambassadors attended the event together with Dr Chitsanu Pancharoen from Chulalongkorn University and actor Guy Ratchanont Suprakob to talk about parenting.
“My husband and I take care of our daughter ourselves, and we believe that spending time with our child is very important. The tie between a mother and a daughter, positive thinking are my life philosophy, and it affects how I raise Maya. Teaching children to be positive and have a good attitude is very important. For Enfant’s summer collection, I like the cotton and spandex mixed baby romper that is soft and flexible. It enables Maya to move freely and comfortably,” Glebova said.
Dr Chitsanu Pancharoen, an expert from Chulalongkorn University’s Department of Paediatrics, shared his tips on child rearing.
“To raise a happy child, the parents must meet the needs of the child, especially during infancy. For instance, do not leave the child hungry for too long. However, this doesn’t mean catering to the child’s every demand. Parents must teach their child to learn how to wait, and when they are upset, divert their attention to something else to calm them down.
For example, when the child is upset, take them outside to play, and use a simple explanation to help them understand. Don’t talk to them with complicated reasoning because they will not understand and become even more frustrated. Raising a happy child makes the child feel content and trusting of their environment. It also makes the parents and those around the child happy. However, remember that each child and each age is different,” advised Dr Chitsanu.
