Will The Donald own up to faking Time cover?

President Donald Trump – who frequently complains that the media reports “fake news” about him and his government – was accused on Tuesday of hanging copies of a “fake” Time magazine cover featuring his image at five of his golf resorts.

Time magazine said it published no edition on March 1, 2009 – the date shown on Trump’s “knockoff”.
The giant media house also revealed how to spot a fake Time cover, picking out telltale signs in the framed covers at Trump’s golf clubs:
*In all its 94-year history, Time has never put an exclamation mark on its cover (Trump’s version has four).
*The “fake” logo is slightly taller than the original.
*The quality of the imagery is of inferior quality than would be used by Time.
*The image should have been silhouetted over the logo – not behind it as in the fake.
*The typography was roughly done and incorrectly arranged.
Since Trump rarely backs down in the face of accusations made against him, it will be interesting to see what transpires from this media uproar.
