Trump blotted his record book with CIA boss appointment
President Donald Trump’s overall performance has been positive, by bringing back some decency, streamlining and considerable reduction in regulations, and returning to more free enterprise and less burden on small business.
He has been the creator and innovator of more jobs and new products, the true driving force of a free and prosperous economy,
However, he is installing Gina Haspel, a known abuser of human rights, as director of the CIA. This is a travesty in every sense of the American founding fathers’ perception of free men and human dignity.
This woman should be in the criminal dock both in the US and in the International Criminal Court (this is the conclusion of Paul Craig Roberts, sssistant secretary of the Treasury in the Ronald Reagan administration).
On the other side of this story stands John Kiriakou, who blew the whistle on this despicable woman, without revealing her name. He pleaded guilty for revealing classified information and was condemned to 30 months in jail in the high-security federal correctional facility near Loretto, Pennsylvania. Gina Haspel, had all records and videos destroyed – a criminal act in itself.
Further, what is not reported in the mainstream media, 109 generals and admirals came out against her nomination. They surely know more than Trump about torture, under which the victim will confess to anything in order to stop this inhumane procedure.
America, the preacher and teacher of democracy and human rights, should have a good look in the mirror before continuing this policy of destruction.
