Voice raised to ‘Save the Beasleys’

I object in the strongest possible terms to Paul’s suggestion that the Beasleys be excised from this page. The Have Your Say soap opera without Horace and Constance would be like the Simpsons without Homer and Marge, like khao pat boo without the boo, like the vegan debate without Bahrt and Moxham, and like General Prawit’s arms without gold watches up to his alleged armpits. 
What a curmudgeonly place it would be without the Beasley nuggets of erudition. We must knock Paul’s preposterous demand on the head right now – I call on my fellow Have Your Sayers to join my #FreeBeasley campaign.
