The party at the Bangkok Marriott Hotel began with a speech by Mahmoud Skaf, area general manager.

Celebrities on hand included Monlahcha and Chutimon Skulthai, Sombatsara Teerasaroch, Polpat Asavaprapha, Sikanya Saktidej Bhanuband, Nachanok Ratanadaros, Pita Limjaroenrat, Kwankao Svetavimala, Disalada Disayanon and Marina Balenciaga.
Many more have stayed at the resort, among them Janie and Mickey Allapach Na Pombhejara, Sirinya Burbridge Bishop, Sirin Preediyanon, Napassorn Buranasiri, Preechaya Pongthananikorn, Amena Gul, Sopidnapa Chumpani, Taya Rogers, Keerati and Ariigantha Mahapreukpong.
