Telemedicine, which involves the use of technology to diagnose and treat patients, has been around for a while but now local private hospital Samitivej is taking it to a whole new level with the launch of Samitivej Virtual Hospital.
This next-generation healthcare service leverages the latest in digital technology, allowing users to consult a doctor anywhere, anytime via their smartphone.
Samitivej teamed up with Advanced Info Service, LINE Thailand, Muang Thai Life Assurance, Siam Commercial Bank, Sansiri and SCG Cement–Building Materials in developing the service, Dr Chairat Panthuraamphorn, chief executive of Samitivej and BNH Hospitals, explains.
