Police arrested four youth aged 15-18 at Bangkok's Din Daeng Flat for allegedly robbing and killing a Chon Buri hotel employee at the mouth of Soi Sukhumvit 51, Metropolitan Police chief Winai Thongsong told a press conference yesterday.

Police identified former drug suspect Sitthichai Khoraya, 18, from security-camera footage. Following their arrest, the gang members confessed to robbing and stabbing Booncherd Khoyaiklang to death at 4am on March 6, Winai said.
The suspects said they had robbed people on three previous occasions, targeting individuals carrying bags and walking alone. They told police that several other drug-abusing youth living in Din Daeng had robbed people, especially in the area around Soi Thong Lor and on Sukhumvit Road.
