No price increase yet at Central food courts

MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 02, 2013

Central Food Retail, the operator of Central supermarkets and food courts, has asked food vendors to maintain food prices despite an increase in cooking gas cost.

Pattaraporn Penprapat, deputy managing director for Marketing and Public Relations Department, said no vendors have expressed plans to raise the prices. The price maintenance period will however depend on the operating cost, she added.
At present, food at the food courts is available at Bt40-Bt45 per dish on average. The economy Bt35 price is also available, as asked by the Commerce Ministry.
