Police announce success in major drugs crackdown
Provincial Police Region 1 on Friday announced its success in a crackdown on drug crime operations in March. A total of 713 drug suspects were arrested along with weapons and illicit drugs.
They included: 972.69 kilograms of marijuana; 1,578,231 yaba pills; 621.52 grams of crystal methamphetamine or ‘ice’ and 7.02 kilograms of heroin.
