Parit was summoned to Criminal Court on Ratchada Road in the morning to hear charges of delivering a speech outside the court on August 8.
In the speech, the activist demanded that the court release human-rights lawyer Arnon Nampa and fellow activist Panupong Chadnok.
Parit’s lawyer said the activist had no intention of causing turmoil, while the activist denied knowledge of the recorded speech presented in court as evidence.
After two hours of questioning, the court postponed the hearing to October 28.
Parit later told the press that he was innocent and has enough evidence to prove it.
He also dismissed rumours that he had asked for money from a Pheu Thai MP for holding a rally.
