Beauties mark second day in Hua Hin by making merit
Miss Universe Thailand contestants started their second day in the resort town of Hua Hin by offering alms to local monks.
For the merit-making event, the beauty queen candidates wore a white lace blouse and traditional sarong. Adul Mullachaati, an expert in traditional Thai fabrics, was at hand to provide advice on the fabrics and how they can be worn.
Traditional fabrics were revived by Her Majesty Queen Sirikit the Queen Mother in the 1950s, and the sarong is widely worn in the country now.
On Tuesday (September 22), the beauties posed for a photoshoot with vintage Rolls Royce and Mercedes Benz cars, and attractions like the iconic Hua Hin Railway Station.
