NARIT said the meteor shower will have five meteorites streaking across the sky every hour with the centre in the Taurus constellation.
“The Taurid meteor shower usually appears between October 20 and December 10 every year, when the Earth crosses a stream of debris created by the 2P/Encke comet. The debris burns up in the atmosphere turning into a streak of light running through the sky,” NARIT said.
People are advised to choose a location where the sky is completely dark to enjoy the meteor shower.
