EC sets date for municipal elections

The Election Commission announced on Thursday that Thailand’s municipal election has been scheduled for March 28, and an official statement will be released on February 1.

Contenders for the posts of mayor and executives of the country’s 2,472 municipalities will be able to register for the race between February 8 and 12.
